Chelsea Hamati

Chelsea rejoined the TradeMoves team in 2025 as Senior Advisor after previously serving as an International Trade Analyst from 2015 to 2018. She currently leverages her trade background and six years of experience in international project management on economic growth and trade projects to assist in client strategy and quality product development.
Prior to rejoining TradeMoves, Chelsea worked for Palladium, a U.S. government contractor, to implement economic growth projects around the world. She served as the Partnerships and Programs Manager for the Alliance for eTrade Development, a Global Development Alliance between the government and 11 leading private sector partners to advance development country small business use of ecommerce tools to advance cross-border trade. She has also worked on bilateral trade, investment, and development projects for several countries including Mexico, Kenya, Malawi, and Peru. In her time as an analyst at TradeMoves, Chelsea provided research and analyses of trade agreements and tariff-reducing opportunities, non-tariff barriers, and specific regulatory information for food products being exported around the world. She has worked on a variety of customized solutions from organic products into Taiwan, fruit and nectar policies around the world, to tradeshow cost analyses. Chelsea has a Masters Degree in International Trade and Investment Policy from the George Washington University with a major in Development Economics, and a Bachelors Degree in Political Science from the University of Florida. She has a passion for facilitating trade to and from emerging markets. |
