Andrew Polinski
International Trade Analyst
Andrew has been assisting TradeMoves’ clients since January 2020. Within his role as an International Trade Analyst he supports the TradeMoves team with projects related to tariff and tax intelligence, import requirements, regulatory trade measures, and trade research and analysis. Andrew has a specific interest in the Latin America region, and has full working proficiency in Spanish.
Andrew has always had a strong interest in understanding how the global economy works and what we can do to make the world a place where all can succeed. He has worked as a Research Assistant for Kogod Business School’s Executive-in-Residence Bob Sicina, who he helped conduct research on the influence of entrepreneurship in peace building and development. |
In the Fall of 2019, he spent five months in Santiago, Chile where he took coursework on Chilean economic development. Andrew also worked in Santiago where he helped an education software company distribute their classes to other Latin American countries through the Latin American Development Bank. He has travelled with the AU Honors program to Nicaragua where he conducted interviews to learn about the political economy of the country. Andrew hopes to use his interests to help countries utilize the private sector through trade and economic tools to improve the lives of their citizens.
Andrew will finish his bachelor’s degree in Fall of 2020, graduating with a major in International Studies and a Minor in Economics, along with completion of the AU Honors program.
