Chinyen Cheng
International Trade Analyst
Chinyen joined TradeMoves in January 2018 as an International Trade Analyst. Her portfolio includes support in tariff management projects, as well as monitoring proposed changes by governments related to import requirements, agriculture/food issues, and regulatory measures.
Chinyen started her career as an international sales representative at Rayshine Corporation, a Taiwanese LCD configuration manufacturer, where she supported international clients with export compliance, shipping, and project coordination. |
Prior to TradeMoves, she interned at Pacific Bridge Medical in Bethesda, MD, researching Asia’s regulatory environment in the medical industry to support western medical businesses’ development in Asian countries. Other relevant experience includes her time with Asia Society Policy Institute, Global Taiwan Institute, U.S. Small Business Administration, and Agricultural Trade Office at the American Institute in Taiwan.
Chinyen has a Master's degree in International Trade and Investment Policy with a concentration in International Economic Policy Analysis at the George Washington University. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Yuan Ze University in Taiwan, where she majored in International Business and minored in Marketing. Chinyen is a native Chinese speaker. She enjoys traveling, biking, and reading.
