Senior Analyst, International Trade & Business Development
Colleen joined TradeMoves in June 2020 as a Trade and Business Development Analyst. In addition to tariff management projects, her portfolio also includes the implementation of marketing initiatives and brand positioning in support of TradeMoves’ new business development opportunities.
In May 2020, Colleen received her Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies with concentrations in International Economics and American Foreign Policy. She completed her Bachelor’s degree at Furman University with a double major in Political Science and French.
Colleen first discovered her passion for international affairs while studying abroad and living with a host family in Versailles, France. She expanded on this newfound passion by interning in at the Department of Defense Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies, where she helped implement programs aimed at promoting security initiatives in the NESA region and completed research projects for National Defense University professors. After graduating from Furman, Colleen moved to France and worked as an English Language Assistant in a French high school, while traveling throughout Europe on the weekends. After completing this teaching program, Colleen moved back to Washington, D.C. and interned at Flag Media Analytics where she provided tailored media alerts and news breakdowns to clients in many different industries.
