Isabella Gabriele
International Trade Analyst
Isabella joined the TradeMoves team in July of 2022 as an International Trade Analyst. She received her Master’s degree in International Economic Policy in May of 2022 from George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs. At the Elliott School, Isabella specialized in Econometrics and International Development. Additionally, Isabella received her bachelors degrees in International Business and Finance from the University of South Carolina with a minor in French.
During her undergraduate studies Isabella studied for a semester at the University of Edinburgh where she was able to observe the Brexit Referendum in real time. This experience deepened her interest in international trade and the dynamics of multilateral relations. |
Prior to joining TradeMoves, Isabella worked in foreign policy research in Washington D.C., focusing on international economic and sanction policy. She was able to draft legislation to be petitioned to Congress regarding these issues, striving to advantage small businesses in the U.S. and to keep accountability in the country’s international relationships.
Isabella hopes to bring accessibility to the international trade industry and support marginalized groups such as small- and medium-sized, women-led and POC-owned businesses.
